Hypnosis: Use the Mind Like a Jedi

 

What is hypnosis? Well, it is nothing but a state of the mind, where the mind is in a very elevated level of concentration. It is totally different from what you see on movies and TV. Hypnosis is often portrayed as a person watching an oscillating disc and similar things. Actual hypnosis is quite the contrary. It can help you do things that you never though you could do. Confused? Well, read on.

The main purpose of hypnosis is to make the situation clear to you. To understand the consequence of your actions and what may be the long term and short term effect of your decision. It may also be used to change the state of a situation and make it feel less or more important. A classic example is in sports, in Tennis when your opponent has a match point the pressure is on you, if you start thinking “If I make a mistake the game is gone” then you will make a mistake. On the other hand if you use hypnosis and concentrate then you may start to think about the opponent’s weak points and think of a way of beating him in the next point.

Hypnosis has been used by many as a powerful tool in sports. For example, hypnosis for golf focus is a very effective technique and if implemented correctly, well, Tiger Woods would feel threatened. Thinking of what is necessary to be done and what are the possible outcomes of the situation, can really change your state of mind but you shouldn’t over think the situation, as that leads to stress and the mind set of caution, which results in the unnecessary concentration on insignificant things that will reduce you performance.

Hypnosis has several advantages. Hypnosis, if practiced regularly, can be effectively to our advantage. It can be used for weight loss, to improve overall focus and concentration and can even help you quit smoking. Now there is something that you would not have known. Hypnosis, is an extremely effective tool. But always do it under the supervision of a doctor or a trained professional.

Hypnosis is so powerful that it can make your mind very controlled and strong. To put it in a cool way, you might even feel like a jedi master. Hypnosis is nothing but an elevated state of concentration, and in this stage, we can convince ourselves that anything is possible.
